Removing isolated objects

Remove Isolated Objcts

Removing isolated spots means filtering the raster image and removing minor defects (noise reduction). This dialog allows you to pick the maximum size of black and white spots to be removed. Spots are the isolated areas of white on black background and, vice-versa, areas of black on white background. Spot size is set in pixels. The program will remove spots, maximum width or height which does not exceed the size you have defined.

Note: This filter is available for black-and-white images only (with color depth of 1 bit/pixel).
